Privacy Policy

Last updated:

Peimot – The Heart Is With You ("Peimot", "we") is a volunteer initiative that supports women who have experienced a stillbirth or late miscarriage. Your privacy matters to us all the more because the information you share is personal and sensitive.

This policy explains what information the site collects, why, who it is shared with, how long it is kept and what your rights are. It follows Israel's Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981, and its regulations.

We only collect information you give us yourself through the forms on the site:

  • Care package requests: name, phone, email (and a second email for updates, if you asked), delivery address, when the loss happened and what you went through, how you are connected to the woman the request is for, and the preferred prayer tradition for an item in the package.
  • Donation requests: name, phone, email, any notes you wrote, and the way of giving you chose.

Some of the information in a package request concerns health and pregnancy loss, which makes it sensitive. We treat it accordingly and only ask for what we need to send the package. You are not legally required to give it, but without the required fields we cannot handle the request.

  • To handle your request, prepare the package and deliver it to your door.
  • To contact you and send updates about the request and the delivery.
  • For donations: to send the bank transfer details, contact you and record the donation.
  • To run the initiative, and to show only aggregate figures on the site (such as how many packages were sent), with nothing that identifies anyone.

We never use the information for marketing, and we never sell or rent it to anyone.

The information is kept and handled with the help of service providers that run parts of the initiative, only for the purposes above:

  • Google (Google Sheets), where requests and donations are recorded.
  • Make, an automation service that sends confirmation and update emails and updates the sheet.
  • Resend, an email service for notifications to the team.
  • Vercel, which hosts the site.
  • The delivery company, which receives a name, phone number and address only to deliver the package.

Some of these providers operate outside Israel, so the information may be stored on servers abroad, subject to their security and privacy terms. We do not pass information to anyone else unless the law requires it.

If you choose to donate directly, the details you gave are recorded with us and you continue to the Nedarim Plus site. Payment takes place on their site and under their responsibility: card details never pass through us and are never kept by us, and your use of Nedarim Plus is governed by their privacy policy.

The site uses no advertising cookies and no tracking or analytics tools. Only technical items are kept in your browser:

  • The settings you chose in the accessibility menu, so they stay for your next visit.
  • A note that the opening animation was already shown, until you close the browser.
  • For the initiative's admins only: a secure sign-in cookie for the admin area.

We take reasonable measures to protect the information: the site is encrypted (HTTPS), access to the data is limited to the initiative's admins and protected by a password, and the forms are protected against automated submissions. The servers keep technical logs (such as IP addresses) for security and to prevent abuse. Still, no security measure can guarantee complete protection.

We keep the information for as long as it is needed to handle the request or donation, to keep a record of the initiative's work and to meet legal requirements. You can ask us at any time to delete your details, and we will, unless we are required to keep them.

Under the Privacy Protection Law you may review the information kept about you, ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, incomplete, unclear or out of date, and ask us to delete it. You can also ask us not to contact you again.

To use these rights, write to us at p0583293575@gmail.com. We will reply as soon as we can, and within 30 days at the latest.

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be on this page, with the date of the last update.
